What's a Zebrafish?
Don't know Zebrafish? It's only a matter of time 'til you do. The group's fearless purple-haired lead singer, Vita has no doubt Zebrafish is only one hit song away from rock domination. After all, the band's name comes from a cool fish that can cure diseases. How could Zebrafish be anything less than epic?
There's a problem, though. Zebrafish has just one member, and that's Vita. (Her faithful dog Chimp doesn't exactly count.) Undeterred, Vita grabs her spankin' new purple guitar and sets out to recruit her fellow legends of rock.
Excitement turns to despair as Vita's band auditions go downhill...fast. In fact, they're a disaster. Not one musician shows up. As the musically hopeless band expands to include Tanya and Walt, Jay, and the nervous hiccup'er Plinko, Vita realizes that something drastic needs to be done if her dream of rock stardom is to come true! Wanting to impress Vita, (his secret crush), Jay makes a suggestion that will surely make Zebrafish the hottest ticket in town - using artist Walt's sketches, they'll make a music video on the computer, and Vita can play all the parts! Just like that, Vita's aspirations are back on track.
But when Tanya's suddenly MIA from band practice, plans get derailed again. This time, the fix isn't so easy. Tanya's news changes everything. She's got leukemia. What does it all mean? Vita's researcher brother Pablo helps her understand. The band mates are stunned, but Vita galvanizes them into action. Suddenly, stardom seems unimportant. Doing a benefit to raise money for research becomes the band's only goal, and the music video's the key. As Walt sketches his friends for the video, a new world grows on the page. It turns into a game that echoes the thoughts in his head. Caduceus, the quest for a cure, comes to life.
Does the band do its benefit? What happens to Tanya? Follow Zebrafish's ups and downs as five friends grow together as a band, and band together to take Zebrafish from wannabe rock group to planet-changing phenomenon.

Rock star wannabe Vita visits her big bro Pablo in his hospital lab and discovers some weird fish in the fridge. They're zebrafish. Cool! Vita hijacks the name for her new band. But when she meets up with her band mates, let's just say, they're out of tune - like her new guitar.

Vita's totally bummed. Who signed up for her band? Goth-artist Walt and his activist sister Tanya. Computer whiz Jay. And Plinko (a legend in his own mind). Not one musician in the mix. Disaster seems certain - until Jay has a totally virtual alternate idea!
