Mayim Bialik's Mission to Raise Awareness for Prader-Willi Syndrome

In the spotlight at a very young age as the star of the long-running Blossom, Mayim Bialik is no stranger to kids making a difference. Now a mother of two boys, she's currently appearing in the hit ABC Family series The Secret Life of the American Teenager. What many people don't know, Mayim holds a Ph.D in neuroscience from UCLA where she wrote her thesis on Prader-Willi syndrome. She supports Generation Cures and the mission to help kids make a difference-for her, that means raising awareness for rare genetic disorders like Prader-Willi Syndrome.
